September 2016 -Pet of the Month... Alex!

Alex is a 5 year old Domestic Short Hair who just moved to the Adrian area of Michigan last month.  He is a very sweet cat who loves anyone that pets him. Alex and his sister, Chloe, were adopted in northern Kentucky from friends in the family.

The night that all of his belongings were supposed to be brought into his new home, Alex jumped off the top bunk in the hotel and was unable to use his left rear leg. Alex’s mom, Heather, drove him over to Veterinary Emergency Center where Dr. Dickey did an exam, took xrays and referred Alex to West Suburban Animal Hospital.  Alex dislocated the ligaments in his knee so Dr. Thompson performed surgery and soon enough Alex was feeling much better. Alex is healing up slowly but surely.
